The 2022 Contract ratification vote is now underway. Ballots were emailed at 3:30 pm yesterday, December 15th. If you were hired as an instructor on or before November 30th, 2021, and are a member of TWU557, you should have received an email ballot from BallotPoint. The voting window is from now until noon CST, December 30th, 2022.
Note that on the ballot email form are also links to several documents, including the TA itself, an introductory letter from Jim Baird, a summary of changes letter, and a letter of implementation, which describes the process and timeframe for implementing the substantial changes.
Note also that you can vote more than one time. If you should want to change your vote for any reason, you may do so up until the voting closes on December 30, 2022. Only your last recorded vote will count.
If you did not receive a ballot for some reason, please let Gordy Purcey know by emailing him at twu557vp@gmail.com, or by text at 214-395-4272. Please include the email address that you want to have the ballot sent to.
Please don’t hesitate to contact any of your TWU557 Board members if you have questions or need clarification on the proposed contract.
