Your TWU557 Board has announced a series of informational meetings beginning Wednesday, December 7th for members to become informed in more detail about the contents of our recent Tentative Contract Agreement. Details are below:
Dear Fellow Members:
After a lengthy effort coming to a Tentative Agreement (TA) it’s now time to introduce the proposal to our membership. To that end, we’ve planned a number of “roadshows” to explain and illuminate the agreement and answer your questions.
Starting Wednesday December 7, we will be conducting informational meetings at the TWU557 Office. Our office is conveniently located five minutes from the Training Center at 8500 N Stemmons Frwy, suite 3015. (East side of Stemmons (I-35) just north of Empire Central Dr).
Join us for food, information and fellowship the 7th, 8th, 13th and 14th. Wednesday the 7th you are welcome to join us for presentations at 12:30 and 4:30 and all other days we will be starting the day with an early presentation at 7:30. Of course you’ll be welcome to visit and ask questions anytime during these meetings. If you’re unable to join us in person, you’ll also be able to join us via Zoom on the 13th.
At the conclusion of the roadshows, voting will commence December 15th. We will be voting electronically with all voting members (all those off probation) receiving an email from Ballot Point on or prior to the 15th. In order to smoothly facilitate this process, please ensure that we have a current email address. Although we can use your “wnco” account, it is preferred to use your personal email for Union purposes.
We’re here to answer your questions and encourage each of you to try and attend one of the in-person sessions or join remotely. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we attempt to bring about an agreement that should benefit us all.
