Today, your TWU557 negotiating committee reached an Agreement in Principle with the Company on a new contract. This means the general terms of the contract have been agreed upon pending formal language agreement which will take place in the next two weeks. Once the final language is in place, the negotiating committee will begin informational meetings in various formats and at various times to explain the changes in the contract and answer any questions you may have. Once the membership has had time to review the content of the new contract, a ratification vote will take place.
